  • Arrival of all foreign participants

  • Meeting at the school lobby

  • Welcome ceremony and Finnish presentation (country, town) in the school hall

  • Guided tour around the school

  • Team-building activities in the school hall

  • Lunch at school cafeteria

  • Students’ presentations about their country/town/school

  • activities on 4 working stations, implementation is inspired by the “Finnish schools on the move” -program and the themes are from health education and P.E. (sugars, cannabis, yoga, airtrack) 

  • “Inside Out” -movie in a Movie Theater Kino Juh

  • Visit to the town hall 

  • Rehearsal time at school for the Erasmus+ Evening Party

  • Winter outdoor activities at Lake Sääksi and Kiljava Institute

  • Walk through the woods, archery, lunch by the campfire, sauna and ice/cold water swimming

  • Suomenlinna Island and Sea Fortress and guided tour around the island’s cannons and tunnels

  • Helsinki Market Square

  • Walk to nearby park to watch a yearly tradition called “penkkarit”. It’s an event celebrated in all Finnish upper secondary schools by the oldest students (3rd graders), who are having their very last day of school before the start of the reading break and matriculation exams. Students travel on a lorry platform and throw candy to the public.

  • Mobile learning game “Seppo” at Helsinki’s new Central Library “Oodi”
  • Kiasma (Contemporary art museum)

  • Students’ presentations with the results of a questionnaire survey

  •  Watching the traditional old style dancing by 2 nd grade high school students. It´s called “Wanhojentanssit” in Finnish
